Got my Romanian AK Today

I ordered it from Century Arms and it came today. It includes the Romanian WASR 10, MV (military Variant with slanted compensator and bayonet lug), 4 thirty round magazines, a bayonet w/sheath, a sling, and a Bulldog soft side carry case.

I'm very pleased with the overall appearance of the rifle. Various threads warned of a canted front sight, magazine wobble and various other problems with these guns. I can honestly say that the one they sent me is straight, tight and has a smooth action. I took it apart and reassembled it for a quick inspection and will thoroughly clean it later tonight. But it looks good.

So far, I'm very happy. The whole package shipped was $496.00.

I can't wait to shoot it!

Congrats Major. The AKM is a ton of fun, and you know it'll always work if you need it to. I love my Century underfolder. Have a blast at the range and post a pic!

Nice looking rifle RM. I have a Romanian that I bought in 2000. Shot plates with it for several years. I ran many, many, cases of steel case ammo through it and used it to take a 260 lb hog last year. It shoots as well today, as it did when I bought it. I'm sure your rifle will serve you well.
 
My brother picked up an identical Romy 2 weeks ago. We took it to the range on the same day and put 150 rounds thru it straight out of the box. No failures, already zeroed, and accurate. Enjoy!
