Got my new M1A Scout today..of all days.

Can't let the B*stards ruin everything. This is one rifle that I'll never sell, and will pass down to my kids, along with the story of today's events. What a day.:mad:
 
A scout goes to a good home, I'm sure. I would say congrats normally, but it doesn't sound right today. My M1A will be cracking some shots at the range as soon as I can get out there.
 
Let us know how it shoots. I have been intrigued with the Scout/Bush model for quite a while.

I would offer a congratulations, but for some reason, I am not feeling very festive today.

I was just thinking of that gun today with what happened. All my rifles are bolt actions so far and I would feel better with a semi close at hand today.

I went with the Steyr Scout instead a couple of years ago because I knew it would be more accurate than the M1a Scout.
 
I will offer a congratulations on your new rifle. There is enough sadness today, you, and we as a country, deserve to have a little happiness. Even today. Don't forget to give your family a hug though.
