Got my Fathers Day gift from my wife today

1895 Nagant from1924. I have been looking at them for a while and wanted another piece of history to go along with my Mosin Nagant 91/30 rifle. Some people don't like em but I think they are neat. Probably won't shoot it much but I am thankful for my wife getting it for me.
 
Thats a good lady. Sure beats my pants,shirt,tie combo I got to go along with the other 100 I already had. Its the thought that counts though.:eek:
 
Yep, you are one lucky guy.

My wife went to a gun dealer, very very early in our marriage, to get me a new Ruger P85 when they first came out. Only time she ever even thought about getting me a gun. I had talked a lot about getting one. She ended up getting me some targets and little sticky colored dots to put on the target to cover holes. She did not get the gun because the sales guy had no clue what a "Rutger Hauer" was.
I tried to keep a straight face when I explained to her Rutger Hauer is an actor and I wanted a Ruger P 85, not an actor. I am sure the clerk had a difficult time keeping a straight face too. She said he had a very quizzical look on his face.
 
wow, that womans a keeper! better than what i got. i got a three day weekend taking care of my 6 yr old DAUGHTER!!!:eek:
 
You got a movie! I got nothing! congratulations man, more and more I see stuff like this makes me think I mustve done something wrong somehow:confused: You got a keeper for sure.
 
:)Thanks fellas I plan on keeping her! Got to shoot it tonight, its definitely different but i like it.
