Got my BS in CIS!

Hey everyone!

Got my BS in computer science (CIS option) last Saturday, despite all the crap I had to put up with from the soon-to-be ex-wife and her family (exeption of Mother-in-Law). I thought it was gonna be hard to get any company to call me, let alone get an interview. Man, was I ever wrong!

For all new graduates in the Middle-Tennessee and Northern Alabama area, whatever you do, don't give up! There are plenty of companies wanting to hire us newbies in the wonderful world of IT. You just have to get out there and broadcast yourself.

Anyway, I've got a tentative offer from a company in Nashville and am entertaining the idea of feeding the oh-so-starved new gun craving! Man, life is good!

Congratulations! You are about to begin a career that will let you work with interesting people in interesting places, with interesting 'toys', and pay you well in the process. The only downside is that over half your knowledgebase will be 'obsoleted' every 18 months or so. But life always has been a continuing education. Best of luck young man.
