Got My "27-2" Home..

This has to be the most beautiful revolver I've ever held. It's as close to "NIB" as you can get without being "NIB". The flawless polish and depth of blue is awe-inspiring. The color case on the hammer and trigger is deep and rich. I can understand why some folks feel that the "357 Magnum" is the class of the Smith fleet.
One strange thing. This long barreled 27 actually feels lighter than my 4" 28.
Pardon my camera...it doesn't do justice to this gun.

:D Just Kiding. The guy at the therapy Clini-------uh huh, I mean gun range where I held a business Meet---uh, I mean shot today at lunch had one on his hip as he worked the gun sales side of the facility. N-i-i-i-i-c-c-c-e-e-e.

I'm trying to talk my brother in-law out of one just like yours. His is a beauty, slick. He inherited abunch of guns when his step-father died.

I agree that the M27 is the classic revolver. I looked for a nickeled 8 & 3/8 M27 for 10 years but couldn't find one at a price i wanted to pay. Finally "settled" for a blued one. I now have four M27s and I wouldn't mind having one or two more.

Your long barrelled M27 may feel lighter due to better balance. A short barrelled M27 puts most of its weight to the rear while the long barrel hangs out front. The gun is heavier, but it feels "better," hence lighter.

BTW- your gun really has some pretty grips, too.

OWN ONE? Good grief.....................

I'd temporarily settle for just shooting a few rounds through one!

An object of great beauty. Life ain't fair!

Hey Frenchy, My offer still stands ;)
Looks just as good here as it did elsewhere :)
I really think I should further examine that one for you! :D

I'll consider leaving her to you in my Will LnL.......NAAAH!! :D

Thanks for the complements fellows. I feel real lucky to have run across this revolver, especially for the money.

I'm not normally a fan of factory Goncalo Alves SaxonPig, but this is the second pair that I've acquired with nice color and grain. Here's the first pair.
