Got a savage 223

Well sometimes awesome deals happen to good people, I had a model 93 22wmr that I paid $100 and today I traded it for a NEW IN BOX savage axis 223! It seems to be a nice little rifle but the trigger sure does suck. Anyone know of any spring kits to improve the trigger on this thing? It's camo and I think it will make a decent coyote and maybe deer gun.

I still can believe the deal I got! I may keep trading up til I have a machine gun!

Do a google search for axis trigger adjustment. I remember seeing a nice pictorial writeup on another forum using springs sourced from local hardware stores. Also check out the Savage shooters forum lots of good info there as well.

It happens, the Axis doesn't have the accutrigger, which as we all know is the ne plus ultra of factory triggers.

Oh sure we will.....since the Axis doesn't use the Accutrigger, it is much like shooting a Rem 700.
