Do me a favor. Close the bolt and drop a rod down the barrel and measure how far it is from the bolt face to the end of your barrel. Hope it's not one of the "oopps" 17.2 inch barrels. If so you may have to have a permenant flash hider or something similar attached.

It was 17.2 until my dealer welded the cylinder choke that came with it on.
Then it was 18.4 inches permanent. Silver solder helped the situation.

awesome, and thanks for the info - this gun is in the "on deck" circle for acquisitions. :) ["In the hole" is a CZ 75 SP01 if I can ever find one; if not, it's gonna be the longslide Springfield XD in .45 acp when that comes out later.]

17.2 bbl - oops is right. Hmmm, wonder how many innocent buyers are gonna be an instant criminal when they take it home?

By the way, anyone wanting to order one should call

expeditionx, thanks. Appreciate it. :)

Now if you did end up with one of the 17.2 inch guns, they need to go back to RAAC. The ATF inspector in their area needs to confirm that they have been fixed. We've contacted every dealer and individual we sold ours to, but I don't know if the other distributors have done so.

If you have any questions, call Larry Wood at RAAC. They will send you a shipping label. Now if your gun has already gone through RAAC and been inspected, you are fine.

There were 500 guns that came into the country like this. The Russians just misunderstood US law, and measured to the end of the barrel extension, and not to the bold face, per ATF regs. As soon as we found out, (thanks to Tony Rumore at Tromix) we contacted RAAC. (We were all at SHOT show at the time) and went with them to the ATF Tech Branch to clear everything up.

Jerimoth, I've got buckets of extra mags. Give me a call, or you can order them online. www.fbmginc.com

John, they were that cheap when EAA lost the import rights, and blew them out to CDNN. CDNN specializes in close outs and discontinued guns. That is why they have killer prices.

saiga

Hi...I tried the URL but it doesn't seem to be working properly. I'll try it from my computer at work...but the promise of magazines rekindles my interest in the Saiga- the extra mags would be one of the strongest points of this shotgun. Unlike the 1187 no reloading, and maybe better reliability. Thanks!
