Gore says he is continuing - who's paying?

With all the lawyers, all the law suits, all the proceedings, all the man-hours and material support for this "effort", who is paying for this? The campaign is over - aren't those funds if any are left, legally unavailable? Have they opened a donation account?

I know Bush is opening a transition office on donated funding since the GAO (read Klinton) wouldn't cut the 5 million loose meant for that purpose.

Again, where is the money for all this legal push coming from?

Believe me, these politicans are not hurting for money.
They have access to more than you or I will ever know about.
The bigger they are, the more they have got.

Gore has asked for contributions. They will start to lose their money if the party turns on Gore in order to position the Democratic Party for the 2002 elections. In other words, if public opinion turns on Gore big time.

Niether campaign gets one cent from me!

I only voted for Bush because the libritarians did not
have a snowballs chance in he~l.
I am very upset about Al Gore and
Joe Lieberman, my anti civil rights congress
critter and their "living Constitution" that to
their minds , does not mean what it says but means
instead what a liberal activist us supreme court
says it means.

The do not fool me for one second and I dont buy their
bullwash.

I believe that the US Constitution says what it means and means what it says and that the govt unconstitutionally ursurps powers not granted it by the US Constitution on
a regular and ongoing basis called business as usual.

This, as well as the UN one world order, is
the big liberal socialist secret that we are not
susposed to be aware of.

Bullwash!

Dear XXXX,

This was an incredibly hard fought campaign, one in which Al Gore and Joe Lieberman laid out a clear and compelling vision for the future of the United States. Thanks in large part to your energy and support, Al Gore and Joe Lieberman won the popular vote, and, we believe, the vote in
Florida as well.

Because this is the closest presidential election in American history, the candidate who received the most votes in Florida will be not only the winner of that state, but also the next President of the United States.

In every election -- and especially one that is this close -- every vote counts. That is why we believe that every vote must be counted. To that end, we have set up a Recount Committee.

This committee is based in both Washington, DC, as well as Tallahassee, Florida. It helps us pay for legal representation as well as the hundreds of monitors and support staff needed to oversee the recount effort. If you
wish to support the recount committee, you can do so on line at:

The presidency of the United States needs to be determined by the will of the people, and in the recount we are seeking nothing more than to determine that will by seeking the most fair and accurate count possible.

Thank you again for your support.
