As has been widely noted, Mr Gore dropped out of Divinity school with failing grades.
As has been his practice since the Watergate affair was first revealed, Bob Woodward refused to confirm the assertions, commenting "We all know the Vice-President's record, and his veracity in these regards. That's all I have to say."
An anonymous campaign official begged this reporter to not publish the story, saying that no-one cared about Nixon anymore.[/quote]
