Goofy Scope Adjustments

I put a scout mount on my Mosin Nagant 91/30 Tula Hex. Also mounted one of the NC Star EER scopes that seem to be popular on Mosin scout mounts. We hit the range this morning to zero it. ALOT of head scratchin and new swear words were created. The dang scope adjustments were backwards !!! On the adjustment dials the arrow pointing up was down. And the arrow pointing left was right. I figured it out finally and got it on the bull nicely. I am sure some chinese scope factory worker is laughing his butt off over his created confusion. Anyone else run into flipped adjustments ?

Actually, they work this way and the dial is compensated to assist you in adjusting. You don't run into them very often but they are out there and I'm always on guard. When I run into one like this, it doesn't surprise me. Let me assure you that there is nothing wrong with your scope. ..... ;)

Be Safe !!!

Check and make sure that your scope's elvation knob is at 12 o'cloci and the windage knob at 3 o'clock. When I mounted my first scope I placed the evevation knob at 9 o'clock. I cussed all the way home until I discovered my error.

Yes , the scope is correctly mounted. I left a note to myself on the "clean tag" that I put on all my firearms as to the backwards scope adjustments.
