I had a Glock 36 that would not work for me or anyone else, despite a trip to the factory. I know basing my statistically insignificant experience with Glock 36's may be irrelevant but I wouldn't recommend the thing in good faith. Check your the serial number as some had problems with slide rails (E Series?). I would also take the serial number and see if anyone has ever sent the gun in to Glock to be fixed.
It depends on what your needs are but I have found that you should never get rid of a gun that works. 5 shots of 38+p in a weapon that will never jam, and is light seems like a good thing. And besides, its only had 5 shots through it, get to know the weapon a bit better before trading it away for something else!
