Good small of the back holster for J frame?

I need a good SOB holster for a 442 Centennial J frame. I'm a big boy, so strong-side hip carry is okay but not totally comfortable. I like the Galco SOB, but would like a few other choices before I decide. I looked at Milt Sparks, Mitch Rosen, etc... but only found a Blade-Tech and Brigade Gunleather model.

Thanks!

Just make sure you have long term disability insurance. If you slip and fall, having a steel object on your spine is a good way to collect on the policy.

Mitch Rosen is pricey, but most of the serious folks I know prefer his gear.

Yeah, I'm concerned abouyt SOB problems as well.
Reaching around behind me is not my preferred way
to get ahold of my revolver. Cross Draw is, for
me the quickest. GALCO has that covered nicely for me. I also have a torn rotator cuff that limits my strong side (high snug reach) type carry. So my J frame sits under my sweater or jacket ever ready for a quick grab.

I know, I've just got to have maximum concealability.

I like strong-side carry, but no matter what It just seems to always print. Love handles and a spare tire help that. Losing weight by tomorrow is impossible. :)

I used to carry a Glock 27 in a Galco Deep Cover, but it may as well have been a "Guess Who's Carrying" model.

I'm only 5' 7" and I carry a 442 between the belt and pants and no one has ever noticed any printing...even with just a t-shirt....your quandry perplexes me.....it seems you should be able to hide it strong side....SOB holster are great in the ads where the person is just standing around modeling...but in the real world people actually sit down...and there in lies the rub.....

Often...
SOB is concealed only from the wearer.
And very difficult to draw without sweeping the muzzle across other folks.

Agree with Sam
I have SOB to show CCW class what Sam speaks of
I have taken a student down because warned once, second time student went down and dismissed from class. Guns, disregard for safety, disrespect me-other students-other instructors and get booted. I don't care if your a parole officer--4 rules apply always.

Good holster and belt IWB or OWB your choice. Dress around gun.
'Comforting not Comfortable"

Geez, let me go fill the tub and slit my wrists... :)

Okay, I guess you guys must all be in great shape. I will try a Galco Concealable strong-side. Maybe the J won't print like my Glock.

Try a Blade-tech UCH. It's tuckable, and with bantam grips a J frame disappears from 2 o'clock to to 4 o'clock.
only hassle is the hammer shield is thin kydex. If it gets caught under a role of fat then it can be uncomfortable.

If the man wants an SOB then go Galco or Bianchi. He has already stated he is a large fellow so the Danger of someone pinning him on his back is probably nill.

I like them for tour Office where I am behind a desk or is you are behind a shop counter. In public might be something else. I am not big enough not to be pinned down.
