In last night's paper, there were TWO decidedly positive articles on guns. One was a light-hearted piece about cowboy action shooting, presenting those involved as harmless, safe, NORMAL folks who enjoy guns and shooting.
The second article was about how gun buyback programs AREN'T working, according to studies of major cities that have held them. Criminals don't turn in thier guns, and most of the guns turned in are crap, old or broken.
It made my day. For once I finished the paper with my blood pressure the same as when I started.
