Good hunting/skiing boots?

I'm planning my first ski trip and will be resuming hunting later this year. So, I realized that I need some good boots. Any suggestions? I'm looking for reasonably priced, Thinsulate, Gore-Tex boots.

I like Cabela's Mountain Hunter boots, which are made for them in Italy. The 8" model has 400 gram Thinsulate and a Gore-Tex lining.

At any rate, the Cabela's catalog (or cabelas.com) is a good place to start, since they also carry other major brands, such as Danner, Rocky, & Meindl.

If skiing you'll need ski boots. Regular boots won't work in ski bindings. As far as hunting boots go, there are a bunch of them. Look in a Cabela's catalog. Rocky makes good ones. I have Red Wings that I use for a lot of stuff. My coon hunting boots are Lacrosse. Just stay away from cheap stuff. Saving money is great, but you'll regret it in the long run.
