Good holster for running?

Right now I carry a Taurus 651 .357 either in my pocket, or in a Versacarry holster when I'm out walking my dog.

I used to run back in the day, and am getting back into it, but the gun is a little heavy for pocket carry and with this holster in running shorts/pants.

Does anyone have a good recommendation for one they use when running? Preferably without a belt. I'm also going to be getting a Ruger LCP in a few months, so if there was one that could fit both (like the Versacarry), that would be ideal.

Can't run anymore, age and injuries have finally caught up with me, but maybe a bellyband holster will work for you, goes under shorts and tee shirt no belt needed.

Check Lenny Magill's website(s); www.glockstore.com . He markets active wear & holsters for small frame handguns.
5.11 sells a well made t-shirt/sleeveless shirt with 2 gun sections.
It doesn't sag & the fabric is meant for runners, work outs, bikers.
Greg Kramer of Kramer Gun Leather sells a mesh type tank top but I've heard the reviews are not that great. I never used it so I couldn't say.

I run my mouth more than my feet so I'm not real current on work out gear or brands. :D

one question - are talking about open carry or concealed carry? I would go with a chest holster but that would have to be OC in warm weather - might be possible under a light jacket for CC when it's cold.

Otherwise it would depend more on the weight of the gun - possibly some type of fanny pack would be secure enough.

Or you could just get a Safepacker and hold it in one hand - I ran for years with a rifle at port arms out in the Arizona desert so I know it isn't impossible.

That being said Safepacker does make a runner's pack :

I have used their standard Safepacker "holsters" and like them a lot.

Tejicano - Georgia is open carry, but I would prefer not to draw unneeded attention if possible.

Thanks all, I'll check some of these out.
