Good Holster for Revolver?

I prefer carrying my Colt .38 but and the black leather holster with the snap above the gun but the paddle, while it is a clip on, is a lot of trouble to work it off my belt. The paddle is too big and is more easily exposed if I wear it at 3 o clock. This holster was made by Don Hume.

I like the Sig 9mm but as I said prefer my Colt .38. BUT I like this kind of paddle is much easier to deal with and is also secure. It also sticks in between belt loops of different pants easier because it's not too wide

So where can I get a holster for a revolver that is made of black leather with a snap above the gun but has a paddle like the one on the fobus?

Here's an example of an excellent paddle holster made by FIST. http://www.fist-inc.com/

As to your particular specification. Call up FIST (they have an 800 number) and discuss with them exactly what you want - and they will make it as you wish and for not more money. FIST (in fact, most good holster makers) makes every holster for exactly the gun you specify, on the color you choose, with the accesories you want, which insures that you get what you want and that it fits the gun. I mention FIST because I have had a lot of success with them but there are others as well. Good luck.

a few years back i was looking for a holster for my model 27 and i decided since it was almost the 21st century i'd get a modern holster... i bought a nylon bianchi ranger holster and gun belt to hold me piece in... i like it better than animal skin but i've gotten grief for such blasphemy... seems like most guys like to carry in leather  ... i guess like a guy said before "what are we sposed to do with cow skin when meat is out of it?"... i do like my ballistic nylon rig real well though... i got a k frame holster because it seems to fit my big revolver tight enough yet it wasn't hard to draw from.........

LIFE IS SHORT...........

The paddle is meant to go on the inside of your pants, not between the belt and pants. Try it that way and you won't have the trouble of working it around the belt loops.
