Hey guys,
I am looking to get a 44mag for deer hunting here in Wisconsin. I have looked at the Ruger Super Black Hawk, and have come across this used one. Is it a good deal?

It is the new model Black Hawk, Has Leupold mounts, and a nikon scope w/butler creek caps. Looks to be in decent shape...

He was asking 270.00 and now is down to 250.00... What do you think?

I was nosing around rugers website, and didn't notice this gun.. It must be a little older?

What do you figure its worth?

Jared it's worth a whole lot more than what you are going to pay for it just as soon as you turn off your computer and run out the door and GET IT!:D

Ruger still makes the New Model Super Blackhawk in .44mag. It come with 4 5/8", 5 1/2", 7 1/2" and 10 inch barrels. They do not come drilled and tapped for a scope. It is a good deal on a blued gun and a great deal on a stainless gun. The scope is a good one too.

Joker, if you decide not to buy this gun would you do me the courtesy of PM'ing me where to find it?? I would appreciate it.

Great deal..., and you'd better not be dinking around on the Internet before grabbing it! :D

Fully expect the next word from you to be that you got it! :D

WoW...

Its this good of deal?

I'm not sure how old it is... I might need some more info from him. Turns out its a local sale too. :-)

Can someone give me an idea on the value? I'll try and post a pic.

He says it is a 8" bbl. I assumes he means 7 1/2, the scope is a Nikon, 2x20.

I've been kind of typing short messages, I have been in a hurry. This would be my first handgun, and ovbiously first revolver. Is the 44 mag sufficent for Deer, Bear?

Is the Super BlackHawk Single Action Only?

Any other information would be great.

I put a link to the pic at the bottom...

Thats a great deal .A friend of mine had a similar rig and sold his for $450.00 and had no problems finding a buyer. Plus a Super Blawkhawk will last forever. I would jump on it.:D

Just got the same deal last weekend on a Stainless Blackhawk in .45 Colt. 4 5/8 inch barrel. I'm VERY happy with it for two and a half.

I paid $270 for a Stainless Super Blackhawk..............................over 10 years ago. No scope, no mount. I don't know what it is "worth", but if I saw that deal, I would already be telling you how it shoots.

My SBH is super accurate. I mean, super accurate. The SBH is a terrific gun.
