good deal?

I purchased a pistol from a friend yesterday. It is a Colt Anaconda
with a four inch barrel. Included was a Kramer holster and what I figure to be around forty bucks worth of powder and bullets. I have fired this revolver before and really like it. I paid $550 for it. Does this seem a fair price?

If in good shape, hell YES that's "fair". Much better than "fair", I'm pretty sure .

Someone will be along shortly with the blue-book numbers. Speaking of which, is the gun blue or stainless? If it's a .45LC variant, it's worth even more than the .44Mags, I think.

Right on...It's stainless in .44. I coudn't find a scratch on it, and I know it's been well taken care of. The holster sells for $95 on the kramer website so I think I did pretty good. It's got the box and all the paperwork. I'm not crazy about the hogue grips though. I think I'll try to find some nice wood ones. Thanks for the reply.
