Good deal? or Bad?

I have a chance to pick up a rifle from someone I know, that is needing money in a hurry. He has a rifle I have never heard of, it is an Interarms bolt action, in 300 Winchester mag. It seems very light weight and well taken care of. Do any of you fellas, (and or gals) have any knowlegde of this company. What quality reputation does the company have, and what would have been near to retail price.

IIRC, the Interarms bolt action rifles were made in Yugoslavia, prior to the "late unpleasantness", and are pure Mauser 98 in design. The single biggest mistake in ditching a rifle I ever made was on an Interarms Mark X in .375H&H Mag. If this rifle shoots as well as my old thumper, it should be added to your collection.

Interarms had several levels of finish and detail, and the value would be different for a Whitworth Express vs. a cheap ol' Mark X like mine. Seems like there may have been one in between, the Viscount, maybe. I disremember.
