Good Deal on SKS?

I have found an SKS up here in Ontario for $175 Canadian. They are Chineses with a chrome lined barrel and a synthetic stock, and they seem to be brand new (this is what the dealer tells me. My buddy bought one and it took quie a bit of cleaning to get all the grease off of it, but it seems to be a good little rifle. I was just wondering if this is a good deal and whether I should do a mad dash for the shop to buy one.

$175.00 Canadian = $118.604 US

-That's why the Canucks are always complaining in the bar about the States. The value of their currency isn't what it should be. Their GST and socialized medicine are things we need to avoid(we don't need H. Clinton to 'fix' healthcare here.)

Oh, back to the gun ----
Definitely buy it...

Hey Corey,

Where in Ontario did you see this? I travel to Toronto frequently and haven't been able to get to any gun shops up there just to see and compare with here in the States. I can't see how you guys can stand to pay that 13-15% sales tax (GST/PST).

That $175Can is pretty good.

To find these SKS's you would have to drive four hours North of Toronto at 80 MPH. We might have troubles with taxes and medicare, but at least we are running on the metric system which is more understandable. Anway, they are in a town called Powassan about 20 minutes south of North Bay.
