Good deal for you .40s&w fans

I saw that. I owned that pistol. It's a solid choice and a great first handgun. I personally didn't care for the plastic FN uses in the frame and the trigger pull needed some cleaning up. All in all, you can't go wrong under $400.00. It's well built and extremely reliable.

Here is a better pic of some of the few FN's I own.

Very nice. The one that I fired was a 9mm, I liked the feel of it very much. As for the .40, I like the round and have a full size M&P in .40 but I just enjoy shooting 9's more mainly for the cheaper ammo. At this price point, with night sights, like I said....tempting.

If I didn't just buy a used truck that's needs tires maybe a clutch and some other small things I would be all over this. I am content with my only .40 the Walther PPQ

Bud's has the same gun for 500 with 6-months interest free layaway. I considered it but between my M&P40, Glock 23, and PX4 .40 I'm sorta set for .40 polys. Seems like a good deal if you're not.

Ordered one!

$376 for a FN FNS 40 with night sights! Fantastic deal! Cabelas has this gun on for $576 right now!

Bought it - love it so far!

I went ahead an bought this FNS from Palmetto State Armory. Got the gun in and was instantly impressed with the overall quality.

A month ago I bought a Springfield Armory EMP 40 at 2.5x the cost of this FNS. I love 1911 style guns, but the SA was sent back to the factory two days after I bought it due to a sub-standard 1911 trigger pull. I only fired 30-40 shots with it, but I'll tell you this, the FNS, after 50 shots, is winning my heart! Shot left, so I drifted the sight to the right - piece of cake. Tried to drift that darned EMP and I actually bent one of my brass gunsmith punches.

Night sights are far easier to see than those on the EMP, especially the front sight. The EMP is very dull and difficult to pick up in the daylight. That front sight on the FNS sticks out like a sore thumb!

No, the trigger is not 1911 crisp, but I got used to it quickly and have already shot some great groups with it. Shooting my LSWC 180 grain reloads and they cycle like a champ! Have not had one FTF.

So far, so good!
