Good deal at LGS

Had a message yesterday from my LGS telling me they just got a used S&W in the shop, because they know I buy used Colt and S&W DA revolvers.
I gave them a call and he said he had a 4" model 27-2 I might like to look at, so I went over after work.
Turns out it's a 3 1/2" barrel. It has some scratches between the thumb latch and grip but that's about it.
So I'm going to the range at lunch today to shoot it and my Colt Lawman.
Can't load pic's from this computer at work.

3.5"bbl adds a bit of value to it. I have a 28-2.. would like to scoop up a 27 someday. A work of art they are.. Ever wonder why the 25, 29, and 57 didn't get the same beautification treatment the 27 did??
 
Sorry, ya...I bought it.
On the phone he said $600.00 but when I got there he let me have it for $550.00
And it's definitely a keeper ! was impressed with it a lunch today, was just as accurate as my Lawman:D
 
Nice score! I was not interested in "stealing" from you just wondering how good a deal you were getting!:D
 
When he left the message he just said 27-2. When I called him back he said a 4" for $600.00 So I beat feet over there pretty quick after work and then had to hold my tongue when I saw it was a 3 1/2"

Now I'm debating sending it in to S&W to have it re blued.
