So shooting today went far better than Tuesday... Left all of the Remingtons I had left at home and brought a Winchester model 12 20 gauge and Mossberg 500 12 gauge... Shot a 23 and 24 with the 20 gauge pump in the wind... No equipment failures this time!!! 
While my Remington 870 Wingmaster is away, I think I may start to like this wood stocked Mossberg... Shot a 19 with it the first time out...
