Good day at the range

Went to the range today. Had a good day, shot well and had a real nice experience with a father and his two young boys who were there shooting .22 rifles. Let them try my Buckmark. It reminded me of when my son was little(he's now serving our country with an F15 as his wheapon of choice). Came home and relateted my day to my wife of 34 years who has never been real thrilled about me having guns, as to how it went. She floored me by saying it sounded like fun and she would like to go with me next time and try shooting. A first. Who woulda thunk. Good day.
 
Nothing beats a nice day at the range. Its great to have a common hobby, especially one if you find the right people. I have a 2 week vacation coming up...and three or four days up in the mountains...a cabin..a wood fire...and a dozen guns.
