Good day at Fleet Farm.

When ever I am in Fleet Farm I make it a point to swing through the reloading section.
Looking for Bullseye powder or Federal Small Pistol primers.
Usually strike out and go home empty handed.

Friday I swing through and pull a daily double.
Not only did they have the Federal primers. I purchased the 1000 they had.
My Smith and Wesson revolvers will be very happy.

But they also had some reloading tools on clearance.

I found a RCBS turret press on clearance for $118 that also has a $10 mail in rebate.
These retail for about $275 so I was not going to pass up the upgrade on the cheap. Not that I need another reloading press. But what the hey...

Here she is just home.

Here she is earning her keep loading for the for mentioned Smith and Wesson's.

Nice find.
I used a turret like that for years.
While it won't be as fast as a progressive, I regret not keeping it.
Good choice.
No Fleet and Farm stores anywhere around us.
Too bad, it seems.
Maybe they do mail order?

I dont think they do the mail order thing. Esp on clearance items.

Like I said, I needed another press like a hole in the head.

I am running.
LEE Classic cast single stage.
LEE Deluxe Turret press.
Honady LNL AP progressive.
Now a RCBS Turret
and two Lyman turret presses.

I must be a collector...

That is a great score! I'm totally envious:). Here in S. Wis we have Farm&Fleet and they do not carry reloading supplies (I wish they did as there is a store in town). Did the turret press come with 4 primer p/u tubes?

Nope it comes with one each large and small pick up tubes. The other two tubes are the transfer tubes. One large and one small. These reside in the larger steel tube on the primer assembly.
Similar to my LNL AP. You fill that tube from the pick up tubes.
