This country has seen it's better days, my children will grow up in a country with no morals, no ethics and no direction.
What has become of America? Once politicians took pride in the electorial process. It was the jewel of the United States of America. Other countries looked at us and asked themselves, how can it be that the ruling party so easily gives up power. How can the most powerful man in the world give up the Whitehouse to become a citizen again?
The answer is or was patriotism and a strong belief in what America stood for and what the Constitution meant. (I use past tense because it is over). Today we have klinton and gore who have no plans of relinquishing the office of president. The media is right there with them in pumping the propoganda on every chanel and in every newspaper, how gore won the popular vote and should be president. Yet, gore will not step down. Why, because he like klinton have never liked or cared for America, to them America stands for everything that is evil and wrong in this world. There is no patriotism in either of these two men. The change in power will not be easy. They will and are fighting tooth and nail not to let the power slip away from them.
Not only these two power hungry men but almost all the national democrats are stating that the electorial college should be overhauled and are standing by gore and klinton.
I am disheartened to say the least, I thought Mr. Bush would carry the country by at least 8 percent. And as much as I wanted him to win, and Mr. Dole before him, I now know that there is no way to win, even a victory in the electorial college will still spell defeat.
The winds have shifted, the american people are no longer concerned about liberty or this republic. They are concerned about welfare, political correctness, and what the government can do for them. We live in the give-me, its-mine, although I did not earn it, I want it, give-me it NOW, society.
Blacks are being played for fools by their own kind. All the black leaders in this country are leading this nation's blacks to believe that welfare is a God given right, food stamps are birth rights and neither shall be deminished or taken away. To be self supporting is trying to be like whitey. To try to get off of welfare is being snobish and unappreciative of the government trying to help. The leaders pull the black community away from Black Pride and towards black dependency.
The hispanics dont have the national organization to the extent that the blacks do, but they have their leaders that get immagrants to this country and set them up on the government plan for every benefit and by doing so, take away from these immagrants the American Dream.
Minorities are so concerned about how whites treat them and racial attitudes that they have been conned into believing that they can not exist without the government. That only the government can stop hate crimes and make prejudices go away. That by paying the welfare to the minorities and giving them jobs through affirmative action, the government is making up for all the wrongs of mankind.
There is no guarantee in this country for succes, but there is a sure fire way to failure. The best way to fail is believe that the government owes you something, like welfare, food stamps or affirmative action. That way the government can keep tabs on you and force you to do their will. Like keep them in power. By putting and keeping people on the government paychecks and programs, the self esteem and pride is slowly sucked out of the person. They see themselves and unable to accomplish anything without the governments help. Thus by the very programs that are to help, they are destroying the pride and esteem of an entire community.
I believe that it is too late to save the America of my youth. When our president does not follow the rule of law and blatantly flaunts this fate in the face of the American people, our country is lost. When this same president has a better than 50 percent approval rating, even while he is breaking the supreme law of the land, this country is not long on this earth.
When blacks and other minorities are silenced into a welfare haze of the give-me's, and made to believe that they are somehow entitled by birth to government programs, this country has lost it's purpose.
When children are taught that being gay is perfectly normal and that gay marriages are to be allowed because to do otherwise would be descimination, the moral compass of this country has broken.
When the elderly are scared into believe that without the government they will be left adrift alone and forgotten, this country has lost it's dignity.
When our schools are turned into initiation camps for the liberal agenda in the name of education, this country has lost control of it's young people. When children do not know in highschool about the Federalist Papers or can not say what the Constitution of the United States stands for, this country has lost its very soul and future.
When young people are taught how to fill out welfare applications in high school instead of job applications, this country has become a true welfare state.
When highschools are filled with children who can not name the original thirteen colonies and can not say what the Boston Tea Party was all about, or why there was an American Revolution, then this country is doomed in the future.
So, why am I so bleak and depressed, because I have waited all my life to have children and grand children, to read to them the history of this country like my father and grandfather did for me. Now in my adult life I spend my time explaining to my children what oral sex is, perjury, campaign finance freud, extra-marital sex, affairs, murder, conspiracy, and all sorts of unethical and immoral behavior. When my 9 year old son at the dinner table asks "Daddy whats a oral sex?", and I ask him where he heard that. His reply, simply was on the news. I try to read and tell stories of America, but all I get is questions about klinton and my teacher never told us that. Why dont you know what my teacher knows, she said that you were wrong, when you said this or that. My children are being brainwashed by the very people who are trying to destroy my country.
I could not sleep on the night of the election. I was never so proud of this country, the battle for the whitehouse should have shown that this country is still the greatest in the world, instead it showed the complete lack of respect for the Constitution and the law of the land. It showed me that the Democrats will stop at nothing to keep the presidency. So much for the succesion of power in this country.
Do I hate America? NEVER, but as God is my witness I am so disappointed in the events of the last couple of days.
The gullability of the American people knows no boundaries.
I guess the liberals and the democrats have finally accomplished, or are pretty damned close to it, the re-education of an entire generation of Americans. This reprogramming was done in the best of intentions in our public schools.
We have lost, because we did not protect our children. We did not educate them, but let the very government that I fear - reprogram them into believing the liberal lies.
America I shall miss you so much, but Lady Liberty deserves better than what our nation's people are willing to give to her.
So it is with a most heavy heart, and a soulful sadness, that I say good-bye America. I am so sorry that I have let you down. I beg yours and my Lord's forgiveness. Have mercy on my soul.
