Good Anniversary Gift

So I have an anniversary coming up. And along with the typical roses and such I want to get my girl a gun. I would buy anything to get her into shooting with me. You see, we went down this road before and she ended up with a Ruger LCP .380 in the Raspberry finish. Only where it is so small and shooting the short nines it was really loud, and it bucked a bit too much in her hands. She won't fire it. So I was figuring it might have been too much too fast for her. So now what I need is an idea on a .22 lr pistol that comes with a factory pink finish.

I was thinking the Sig .22 lr Mosquito, but it is not really all THAT pink. She prefers magazine fed pistols, but a good looking revolver might do the trick. I know the market on pink guns has to be pretty limited, but I think I can come up with something before the big day. So please, give me some ideas! If you can post a pic or two that would be great. Thanks!

Charter Arms Pink Lady,,,

A lady friend of mine has the plain stainless version,,,
Nice shooting handgun and not too pricey.

She also bought the Pathfinder in .22 lr,,,
So she had a cheap plinker that felt the same as her .38.

Her guns are flawless performers,,,
And they didn't break the bank to purchase.

Thoughtful idea, but instead of a surprise it may be best to let her try several different handguns and decide which works best for her.

The Beretta Neos is an easy shooting pistol with a very small, narrow grip. You can get it with pink grip panels. Good for practice and range plinking, not for carry, but she has a carry gun.

+1 I went that route many years back when the Mrs was getting into shooting, opting to send her to a course where she got some instruction and hands on experience with several different handguns. She enjoyed it enough that she recruited a girlfriend and then ended up doing two other courses before settling on a Sig 239 in 9mm. Lots of ways to go about it, but consider making a process out of it where she can shoot a variety of handguns and select for herself.

Perhaps a Smith&Wesson 642 with the pink Hogue grips. That way of she doesn't like you can still change the grips and have a gun you can carry yourself without looking foolish. The recoil will be about the same as the LCP with +P ammo butif you stick to regular SAAMI pressure it won't be bad. Of course, if she's REALLY recoil sensitive, you can use some "cowboy loads" and adjust your point of aim for the underpowered ammo.

However, I think in all honesty she'll probably be happier with something from JARED than from BUD'S. She may not enjoy shooting as a recreational event. (Think of your range time as "me" time and just relax by yourself.) Good luck.

the P22 comes in pink and pink camo. but i think the firearm courses idea is a good one. also the suggestion of letting her choose her next gun is good idea.

Better if she picks.
If you can/must pick, then:
1. 1911 9mm - if she has small hands, fixed it with thin grips (girly color grips?), and short trigger. STI Spartan would probably be a good start.
2. .22 Browning buckmark - bullseye version.
