Good after market grips for Single Six?

I have gorilla hands and the stock grips for the SS leave almost two fingers off the grip for me. Any experiences with after markets? Especially rubber or synthetic?
I'm feeling sorry for my SS. I often leave it at home in favor of MK III and browning buckmark and the ease of loading and unloading. I need to give it some attention.
 
Grips are a very personal thing. I like these because they are thick and give a real 'grip'.

I would suggest you consult with a custom gripmaker, some of which can do what you want inexpensively.

Single action grips are simply on the short side if you have large hands. Most people will have at least one finger under the grip frame. In a small caliber revolver this should not be a problem. With big bore magnums it most definitely is a problem. This grip frame was designed in the days of black powder and you didn't really need much grip to control the gun.
 
I can't remember who makes them, but there is at least one maker that does an extended panel for the Ruger grip frames. The wood extendes below the bottom of the gripframe to give a larger gripping area.
 
I'd consider the type of grip used on Steve McQueen's revolver in the movie "Nevada Smith".
These were distintive and chosen mainly because they looked great on screen, but they were the work of a master pistol smith of the day, and intended for very large hands.

McQueen used more than one revolver during the film.
IIRC the one I'm thinking of may have been a Remington.
Whichever it was it was reported lost in the river fight scene, but showed up many years later.
