Did a search but didn't come up with anything.

I'm picking up a new Rem. 700 LTR from Bachman, and would like feedback on what folks are shooting in this round and in this weapon.

joseph, fed match 168's....or Black Hills same..........either will be most excellent..........

I agree with the 168 grain Hornady-you might also try Remington's own 168 grain match. I have a Model 700 Varmint Synthetic in 308 and Federal's 168 did a 5/8" group, Hornady did 9/16", and the Rem did 1/2". My favorite factory deer load is the plain Jane 150 grain Winchester silver box soft points, which do 3/4". If you handload, I use 165 grain Nosler Ballistic Tips with 44 grains of Reloder 15, and overall length at 2.800 which gets me under a half inch when I'm up to speed with regular practice.
