I missed out on a nearly unused nickel SW19-4, 6" bbl, with Goncalo Alves combat finger-groove grips, at $ 350. I will try to find one with regular grips and then try to replace them (I'm also informed that Goncalo Alves is not a famous guy who designs grips; he's actually a tree living in Costa Rica).
Do you know if these grips alone are available anywhere? Price range... and, have you ever used such grips? How do they handle? Finally, where'd that tree get its name? Appreciate any wisdom you can impart.Thanks. Louis
