GOLD front sight

Has anyone found these Gold reflective sights to be useful? My eyes are getting Real bad and it's not much fun to only shoot for 1 hour and then go home...
Would a red fiber optic be better?

Recommend Millett orange ramp fronts, Caspian yellow .060 rod front, or BrightSights Yellow Sight Paint. All three work well for me.

Have a gold-dot on a Ruger wheel, with Ashley rear. Accurate but hard to see.
