going to get another EDC weapon

Double Impact

Hello all
i'm thinking of picking up another carry weapon which will in all likely hood become my primary carry once it proves itself to me.

I problem is I am having a little trouble choosing which one? A sig p226, sig p229 or the new sig P320 one of these will be in 9mm.
I have always carried heavy guns for the most part so wt is really not a factor. I spent some trigger time on these three weapons and all shoot very well for me.

So what do you all think? And why?

I will of course make my own decision but would like to hear what you all have for an opinion.:D

When I can't make up my mind what to buy, I flip a coin, and it becomes simple.
If it's heads, I win.
If it's tail, you loose.
Case closed. :D

Ok, weight isn't a factor. And it'll probably be a 9mm. And you will use it for CC. And it seems you prefer semiauto to revolver. But what else do you like (or not like) in a handgun? Some of those are hammer fired and the 320 is striker fired. Do you like thumb safeties? Decockers? I'm a lefty so I need ambidexterity. Give more information and you'll likely get more (and better) suggestions.

Ive carried both the P226 and P229, and both carry easily.

I prefered the P226, simply because it felt better in my hand, and you gain a little with the extra half in barrel length. The P229 is pudgy feeling in comparison, and is a bit of a chunk, not that that really means anything when carrying. They both carry the same.

You cant go wrong with SIG. They are good guns. You just need to learn their quirks and adapt to them, like anything else.

I tried carrying the 226, no way.

After much ado... I settled on a 239 in 9mm. I shoot it as well as my 226. Small enough that I really do carry it.

I've not tried a 320 yet, unlikely I will as I greatly prefer DA/SA over Striker.

Plenty of folks walkin around in the world right now with a 229 on their hip ccw.

Good luck.

P229 here.

Just happens to be the one Sig in 9mm I am drawn too.
Seems big enough to handle well, small enough to be concealable and is metal.

It's that simple for me.

Put them in your hands,,,

Put them in your hands,,,
One of them will make you smile more than the others.

At first glance this might seem like a frivolous post,,,
But those guns are very similar in features,,,
Chances are the performance is too.

Don't over think this my friend.

Fifteen minutes at a counter playing with these puppies,,,
That's what you need to make your final decision.

If you are comfortable with a striker fired pistol IMO the P320C is a great way to go if you shoot well with it. I LOVE my P226s and P229s but for CCW I appreciate the weight savings.

Sphinx SDP Subcompact!!! ive been carrying for a back-up. Sphinx firearms are hands down the Rolls Royce of firearms I've carried Sigs & Hk's for 21 years. Both are good guns......But, NOT compared to a Sphinx. My carry Sphinx SDP has in excess of 5,150 rds and we have tried to get it to malfunction to no avail. It's pure Swiss engineering. It's bet your life reliable!!!
