God NO!

Christ!

When it rains, it pours...

My shop just called me...

They have a 6" Model 25 in .45 Long Colt in...

They want to know if I want it...

Well DUH!

Only I can't afford it right now!

GRRRRRRRRR!

Well, at least I can take some consolation in the fact that it's a 6" and not a 4". If it were a 4", I'd be in there with things to trade...

When it rains it pours....

Maybe you could sell your car or get a second mortage? Don't fall for the temptation of trading a gun you have, it's the first step on a long dark path.;)

How much are they asking and where is it. Don't worry, Mike, even though you don't know it, you've helped on these forums enough that when I'm done with it, you get first crack at it. :D

Probably true, but I know for a fact he didnt spend it on Britney Spears CD's.

;)

Mike,

I just saw the pistol you were talking about. I happened to be up there getting magazines and I saw it in the case. Its nice. Real nice. The price is nice, too. Just walk to work for a month or something. Because, man, its nice. Blueing is in real good condition...its just nice. I'm giving odds that if you go in to see it, you will walk out with it if you haven't seen it already.

25-?

-3? -5?

Having the 25-3 125th Anniversary gun I can say that it's a wonderful gun, 6inch tube on there makes it seem downright respectable.

yep, if that's the way I had to describe the gun, "respectable" is the word I'd use.

Weird thing is I live in about the gun poorest area in the US. Can't find anything here; not one 29 to be seen, 586 never heard of'em. Yet in my two closest shops you can have your choice of 4" 6" or 8 3/8" Model 25's  All are listed at over $500 though.

MJWR,

You've got competition.

I'm not buying it, so it's up in the air to whomever gets there first.

I want a 4".

I'm not going to settle for a 6".
