I've read of this threat by Montana legislators to secede from the United States if the 2nd amendment is held to NOT be an individual right of the American citizen. In Montana, they seem to think this would be akin to the US Federal government breaking a contract with its state.

I've had my eye on some Montana land. I might go ahead and get it.
