glocktalk worst website registration by far, congrats!

Tried to signup a few months ago, apparently my IP was banned. Since I never been on their forum, i'm guessing they just banned a large IP range for some reason.


Today the IP block was lifted, tried their register link only to be greeted with "the site you tried to find on glocktalk is not currently working"

Their admin email is also pretty much dead, I sent an email montsh ago, never recieved a reply.


If they don't want people to join their forums, why not disable the function instead?

Just to see, I went to their site and there's no problem to register.
I didn't actually register, but it looked just fine.
The problem must be at your end.
Your rep precedes you??
Or maybe it's so cold where you live, the electrons are frozen.
 
I too had issues with registration at Glock Talk a couple of weeks ago...

Confirmation email came, I used the link and logged in...Clicked the 'Remember Me', and the next AM was not logged in on return...

Tried logging in with name and password...No go...Tried the confirmation email again...No go...

I did get a response to my email to the admin within 24 hours, and all has been well since...

I followed the registrations steps from their main site, and it linked me here http://glocktalk.com/register.php which is broken.

Yeah i followed a wrong link, thanks anyways.

Salmoneye, a quick google search you and I are not the only ones.

Just find it odd they ban ip addresses with a long ip range, that's kinda stupid.

I'm gonna register and ask the admin what's the point of having a contact form if they never bother to reply.

I tryed to get on, they emailed my address back but never let me on.
My daughter gave me this computer and i'm still using her babygurl address.
