The New Mexico State Police are the most recent State Police Agency to adopt the 357 SIG, this time using the "Glock 31".
Others will be sure to follow after testing the mellow shooting, accurate, powerful 4.5" barreled Glock 31, which has a well supported chamber (Bullet setback issues which can cause a 357SIG to kaBoom, have been solved by the ammo companies and the saavy reloaders; I'm only aware of one such kB! because of this issue).
For you "other" caliber fans, be sure to read the May 2000 edition of Gun World, entitled "Getting the Most From the 357 SIG". This is a fairly complete guide to available ammo. It's sure to piss off the 357SIG naysayers. But it's actually a very good article on what's available at the moment.
