Glock G19 "covert"

Has anyone had the balls to do a "covert" type conversion to their 19? That is where you keep the 19 slide and alter the grip housing to the subcompact 26 dimension. Just curious and a pic if ya got one, thanks.
 
I thought there was only a 1/2 inch or so difference in the length of the barells and slide. If so cutting it seems hardly worth it you should just sell the 19 and get a 26. I did cut the frame on a full size Kahr p9 before they came out with the covert model so it would use the shorter MK mags. I wouldn't do it on a G19 though.
