Glock crisp trigger?

I new to the gun crowd and have a question about my glock 21. I recently attended a personal protection course and participated in a "round robin" and fired a #$*)load of different guns. I fired a 1911 and the trigger pull was HEAVEN. There was a little slack, resistance, CRACK, it fired, no "creep". Can this be achieved with my glock 21? Am I destined to join the all the 1911 guys or is my glock gonna be o.k.? I HATE all that creep in my glock.

Thanks for any input.

Check the websites Glockmeister and Glockworks. They offer different trigger pull packages for Glocks from competition to heavy pulls. Myself I stay with the 5.5lb stock pull and like it alot. After break in even on the range target shooting it causes me no problems.

I have a Glock 21 and I love it. But the trigger will never be as good as a tuned 1911A1. If the Glock trigger bothers you then trade it on a good 1911. If I was buying a new .45 I'd probably go with the Kimber Pro Carry CDP.

Glockmiester is probably the best trigger you can find for a glock.I have a 3.5lb in a 19 and it works much better then stock. You will never get the trigger good as a GOOD 1911 trigger. However if the glock fits you you will be able to do very well with it.

Yes the 1911 guns do boast a better crisp trigger.Only difference I can see is that the GLOCKS never have failed to fire or recycle for me.For the range the crisp trigger guns are great. For dependable every day carry, without special tuning,a GLOCK is a better choice.(IMHO)

The Glock trigger is it's most distinctive feature, and the 1911 trigger is it's most distinct feature as well.

I have been shooting Glocks a long time, and with training and practice, a Glock trigger can be pure HEAVEN.

I shoot a Glock trigger a lot better than a 1911 trigger. To each his own.
Some people depend on the trigger of the 1911 to make up for a lack of skill. With some practice, a Glock trigger can be mastered quite well.

If you can't hack it, then go with a 1911. There is nothing wrong with them, they are good guns, but they just will run you a lot more money for no real better performance. This is of course subjective, but the fact cannot be argued that if you get into the 1911, be sure to bring money!
