Glock Conversion Slides

I've had my heart set on a Glock 21 for quite some time, but I found that the Glock Store sells not only conversion and replacement barrels but slides for common frames.

Apparently, A Glock 20 10mm auto slide (with barrel) can fit on a Glock 21 frame, because the frame between them is common. Can anyone verify this?


Would it be cheaper to just find a buy a Glock 20? becuase the slide, barrel and mag could add up to be very expensive
 
G20 and G21 frames are the same part. It would probably be cheaper for you to find a complete upper for sale by a private individual; otherwise, I'd look for a deal on a lnib pistol.

I found a lnib complete G20 upper @ $250 on Glocktalk's listings. Came with Big Dot night sights, too.
