glock 43 upgrades or not ?

had mine a few months . pretty much like it as is . recoil is manageable , it seems to be fairly accurate from my range distances of around 7-10 yds. and it is totally reliable as one would expect of a glock.
viewing you tube and other written info sources , some good some not so good , there seems to be a percentage of owners who want or need upgrades perceived or not. sights .... the 43 models with the white outlines rear and dot front are poleymer . mine has the trijicon front and the rear IS steel. feel no need to change them .
trigger enhancements ... mine is typical glock feel , dont know the weight but there is no need to mess with it imo.
grips changes .... some extra texturing is available from some shops . again , i do not feel mine is a problem area. the grip doesnt seem to shift that much in semi-rapid fire , am apt to leave it alone.
how do you folks feel about the changes mentioned here and have you made any refinements ?
the only thing i may desire is the extra magazine capacity mags ... one or two extra rounds. would i need a dif. mag spring upgrade also ? reccomendations on ones that actually work and stay working ! would be nice .
thanks in advance enjoying my baby glock 43 !

My 43 came with the stock plastic sights. Those had to go. Tritium front plain black metal sights. I polished the trigger parts and got an acceptable trigger out of it. That gun will never be a longrange tackdriver. Inside 15 yds its plenty good enough for head shots

Just got mine a couple of weeks ago.Was told they are shipping with an improved connector. Not sure on this but I like the trigger. May change the sights.I did try the pearce +1 grip extension . So far no problems. I really like this gun. For me don't see the need to change much.http://www.pearcegrip.com/News

I bought +2 for all mags except one in gun. Going to put different sights...probably Fiber optic. I really like this gun

I bought mine used and the only upgrade was some dayglo green tube sights. they are good sights in all but complete darkness. perfectly suited for hot a weather ccw. since im not target shooting with the gun I haven't been inclined to tweak anything on it. I might one day get night sights on it but other than that I haven't found a flaw that needs addressing.

*** edit*** I did remove pinky rest base plate and replace them with ones that are the same size but allow the 7th round to be loaded.

The best upgrade I did with my G43 was to trade it for a Sig P 238 and a dozen mags. I have a G 42 that I like a lot but the 43 was another story for me, I guess I thought it would shoot as nice as my P 938 but it did not even come close.

I found the opposite to be true- I have a Sig P938 that I like a lot, but found the G43 to be a better shooter for me.

My G43 is an earlier version that came with a heavy (8lbs +) trigger, so I put in a Ghost Edge connector to bring it down to Glock average trigger pull range. Apparently, this is not necessary with the newer ones.

Other than that, Ameriglo I-dot sights and Traction Grips are the only mods I found necessary.

DJN01, And that my friend is why it is nice to have choices, both my G 42 and G 19 are favorite shooters but the G 43 was just not in my "comfort zone".

I did this with my G27 at first, but eventually found I liked having all mags identical for reloads, so I won't for my G43.
I found everything acceptable from factory. I may replace the sights.

I have my preferences and have modified my G43 as follows:

-I installed the new 33564 connector into my older G43 which didn't come with it. I previously had a Ghost "Edge" connector in it. The trigger pulls are near identical from what I can tell. The original connector made the trigger pull a bit too heavy for my liking.

-I put on steel Ameriglo sights, painting the plain front a bright color.

-I sanded down the grooves in the trigger, as I prefer a smooth trigger, particularly when shooting an extended range session in the 300 round range.

-I bought a few holsters including a DeSantis Nemesis pocket holster and an Apache ankle holster. The holsters I use the most are body armor vest holsters as I mainly use this gun for a backup at work.
