Glock 36!!!

While I was at the range today, I was looking in the case and lo and behold there was a G36. I have been carrying my G30 since this flap about the PT145/PT111 started brewing, but as much as I liked the gun (G30), it never fit me right. As is the usual complaint about this fine pistol, the grips were to fat for me. Well, to make a long story short, I traded the G30 for the G36. My FFL also agreed to exchange all of my G30 mags for G36!!! The gun fits like a glove and I am happy as a clam on a warm deserted beach!!! I guess the PT145 will have to wait!!! BTW, the gunsmith was not in today, so I will have to wait till next weekend to have it checked. No matter!! I have a proven relible .45 that fits as well or better than the PT145 did. Four rounds less though, but I can live with that. :)

The G36 that I had owned was a great pistol and I didn't have any serious complaints about it. I will say that it was MUCH easier to carry even though the "book" dimensions don't say it is that much thinner.

I just ended up selling it because I wanted 4 more rounds in a G30. Plus that darn mag base kept pinching me to no end when I shot the pistol.

I tried a G36 for fit and feel today. It doesn't point right or consistently for me, so it's not a candidate for a gunfight tool for me....
