Glock 36, Any Feedack?

I finally held Glock 36 today. This will be my next gun. Grip felt perfect in my hand. Did they finally get the kinks worked out with the mags? They also seem hard to get. Anyone own one? Feedback please.

The only one I've seen in person is currently serving duty as a rental gun at a local range. I haven't shot it yet but it feels ok in my hand. I think I prefer the slightly beefier grip of the G30.

I don't know if they got the bugs out but I suspect that they wouldn't have released it until it was right.

I have seen and handled the G36 but not yet fired one. It's a Glock, what's not to like.

However, I prefer my G27 w/10 rds. of .40S&W instead of 7 rds. of .45 ACP and it's smaller than the G36. Also, I can use 13 rd. G23 mags for a reload.

If I want a lower capacity .45 ACP I'll carry my Colt Officer's ACP. I like the feel of it better than the G36.

Have run about 250 rounds through mine and am quite pleased with it so far. I took it and my G30 out and shot them both the day I got the 36. You can tell you're not shooting the 30 when you fire the 36 but it is very controlable and accurate. Its somewhat smaller size makes it easier to conceal depending on mode of dress and this gives me another option for concealed carry. It rides real well in the pocket of pleated dress pants so I may get a pocket holster for that. YMMV
