Glock 35 or 22C for IPSC ?

I am wondering if anyone has had any experience shooting IPSC with either of these two and how suitable they are.

Would one be better over the other? Could you get away with using a 22C or if you are really serious should you go for the 35?

I own a AMT Hardballer but it is getting pretty long in the tooth to spend a whole bunch fixing up to the level it would need to be. I am just starting into the IPSC world so now is the time to change if I am going to.

Any thoughts?

My 35 rocks at IPSC. I use a stock 35. Been thinking of changing to a heaver spring and getting night sights but no big hurry.
Stay safe.

I think the Glock 35 might be better for competition... but I don't like the looks of them.

Of the two, I personally like the Glock 22-C a LOT better. I like the 23-C best... it's the perfect combination of EVERYTHING IMHO.

Take care and keep us up-to-date,
Ben

Get the Gloack 35!

I have never shot a 22 but I have a 35 and LOVE IT!

I started to use it in USPSA last Summer. My scores went way up. Awsome gun.

Isn't the 22C ported? If so, you will be in open class, and that gun will not be a competetive open class gun.

Get the 35.

If you're going to shoot IPSC, get the 35. As noted above, the compensated barrel in the 22C will move you to open class. Also, the 35s longer barrel will make it easier to reach desired power factor level.

It's a lot easier to make major power with the G35. In fact you can download your ammo a bit.

The G35 is also the nicest looking of the Glocks, as well as very accurate.
