So I'm amped about this.
I carried a Glock 34 for a little while a few years back. Yes, concealed. Appendix and even with a Surefire X300U. I stopped because it required a little more maintenance than your average Glock because of that opening on the top.
I went back to my Glock again a few days ago after putting it head to head against my HK USP Compact. And I shoot the Glock a lot more comfortably, accurately, faster, and it doesn't take a chunk of skin out of my hand lol. Even though I am an HK nut down to my core. I carry for the sake of self defense. Nothing else. I try to tickle the "gun enthusiast" box at the same time sometimes and it's not always the best for the end goal.
So I think I'll be picking up the Gen 5 Glock 34 very soon. Does anyone else have one yet? I see they're all "MOS" right now. Which is the cut-out for an optic. I do have an optic. A Vortex Viper I think...On my FNX-45 Tactical. I might end up getting a Trijicon RMR for this 34 since it's already cut for it. Might as well, right?
