Glock 33

A LEO buddy has a Glock 33 (mini-glock) which is a .357 sig. He told me that all you have to do is interchange the .357 barrel for a .40 and you are ready to go, two guns in one. Don't even have to change the magazines. Does this go the same for the Glock 27 and switching the barrel to shoot .357 out of that. Anyone have any experience with this, is this reliable, safe, good for the gun, etc...Can't beat two for one, if it is safe and not damaging. Thanks everyone...

Yes, but you have to make sure that the 27 has the .6 inch longer slide rails to do it safely, which is why Glock doesn't recommend it. All the G33's are built with the tougher frame and can handle both .357 and .40.
