I can get a pretty good deal on one of these and just need info on it. How does it shoot? Is it a good purchase? Are Recoil and shootability good? How does it compare to the M26 & 27? Thanks ahead of time all your input is greatly appreciated.:)

I had one for about three years, and I shot it a lot. Close to 3k rounds, judging from the dead boxes of ammo I had left over. I think I probably shot more rounds through this pistol than any other one I've owned, except for the Ruger Mk II. It was one-hole at 30' accurate, but the hole wasn't as small as the one my BHP .40 makes (about 1"). The .357 Sig round loads like nobody's business (a 9mm pole into a 10 mm hole) and is controllable in recoil, even in this small pistol. I would say you'd need to spend some time getting used to the setup, though. You will be surprised at how much blast and concussion come out the front. People would always come over to ask what the heck I was shooting. I noticed that the .357 Sig seems to put more crap back into the striker channel than any other Glock round I've fired, so be sure to clean that up (instructions are posted at Glockmeister's site) every couple of hundred rounds.

If I were to have a Glock again, I'd get either the 32 or the 33. Great cartridge for the package.

Thanks, I really appreciate the information. Yesterday was our IDPA club's bi montly shoot and I got the oppurtunity to classify with a Glock 32 .357 sig. I shot the gun with PMC ammo in the CDP class, since I was already shooting my Steyr M 40 in SSP and ESP (that was a lot of shooting for one Saturday afternoon). For someone who has not shot a Glock in years I was impressed at the feel of the gun (last time I shot a Glock they didn't have the finger grooves). The gun also had a fiber-optic front site which was incredibly easy to pick up. However, I wasn't please with the amount of recoil from the combination of the pistol and PMC ammo. I can only imagine what the 33 would feel like. Needless to say, I didn't score as well with the Glock as I did with my Steyr.

I have a G33 and have fired about 1000rnds thru mine. But, the recoil was so stout, I usually only shot about 50 at a time. Then last gunshow I went to, I bought a Wolff 20lb spring. When I shot it this weekend, it felt like a totally different pistol. The recoil has been greatly reduced, and I now enjoy shooting it. Before, I only shot it for practise since it's my carry gun. So, I highly recommend this cheap modification.

Thanks, I'm still considering buying the pistol, because its such a good deal. I think I've fallen in love with the power of that recoil, but would definitely want a recoil spring to help reduce it for practice and targets. Thanks for the advice!
