I am soon to aquire a Glock 30 but cash will allow another handgun purchase at the same time. I was bent on a Glock 26 but after reading some about the Kahr pistols, I don't know. I have shot a G26 but not the Kahr and can not find one to try.
At any rate, what would you guys do in this instance?
I am getting the 9mm for better concealment when conditions call for it.

A G26 or a K9?

I think I'd get the Kahr. The K9 is smaller and slimmer than the 26, though the loaded weight is similar. With the 30 as your primary CCW piece it doesn't sound like weight should be an issue and the stated purpose indicates that the smaller pistol would be the better choice.

Either is an excellent choice. I own a G26, but definitely would like a Kahr also, as soon as I can convince the wife!

If you want another Glock then I'd suggest the G19. If you want smaller then try a Kel-Tec P11. CDNN has them now for $209.

I have both a Glock 26 and a couple of Kahr K9s. I carry the Kahr due to its better concealability as well as the fact it feels better in my hand. The K9 weighs more but the added weight makes recoil all but disappear.

I would suggest the Kahr P9, it is polymer like Glock and wt is about 21 ozs fully loaded. The Kel Tec P11 is 21 ozs with 10 rounds of 115 jhp. The Kel Tec is cheaper, thicker, and has a BAD trigger pull.
