Glock 30 lovesong

How do I love my Glock? Let me count the ways...

"G" is for the Grins I get popping 230 grainers into the black..
"L" is for the Long nights in the backcountry, where I can sleep peaceful knowing Gaston's looking out for me...
"O" is for the delighted "OH!" I get when introducing a girlfriend to guns with an Evil Black Pistol...
"C" is for the City streets I can walk safely, thanks to my Concealed Brick. ;) ...
"K" is for the .. well.. there is no K. I thought there might be, but it didn't occur to me. I was considering "King of handguns," but I didn't want to give the 1911 guys a coronary :)...

The things you think up lying wide awake at 5:00 AM alone on a cold Idaho mountaintop.... I'll tell ya though, there's few things more consoling than looking up as you hear a fearsome noise and seeing your own set of Trijicons beaming happily at you...

:D

You have WAY too much time on your hands. :D

Pssst... K should of been for Keeper!! I've grown REAL fond of my G30 also.. 1911's are STILL the King of Handguns though. ;)

K is for KayLee who's sharp enough to know a great gun when she see's one. The G30 is everything I heard it was and then some. Why I didn't pick one up sooner is beyond me.:D

I don't have a 30 yet, but I do have a 21 and it is a fantastic .45acp weapon that is reliable as a brick paper weight. :)

I heard a lot of talk about the 30. Finally bought one about a year ago. OMIGOD:eek: That is one of the most accurate 45s I have shot. Superb gun. but I do worry about ya'll wanting to marry your 30s...

I guess Idaho is not exactly the cure for boredom, is it?

That depends.. the last time I was out, I was camped out hunkered down 200 yds or so from some rather.... territorial.... folks playing with longarms. Made for an interesting night. And the time before that, I was told "take your rifle, they're tracking a grizzly through the valley." And the feller I just ran into was just telling me of his party trying to shoo away a HUGE charging moose with handguns. :D

It's just that the other 99.9% of your time can get..rmm... slow.
All in all.. I like it here. :p

Hi KayLee; My buddy just got transfered to Boise. We're big-time woods bums, campers, fisherman, shooters, etc. I can't wait to explore Idaho. Best Regards, J. Parker PS- is Idaho ATV friendly?

...trying to shoo away a HUGE charging moose with handguns.

What kind of handguns did the moose with the credit card have? :p

I'd like to see how that moose held and fired those handguns too.:D

Jeez you guys... just 'cause I had an English major in school you pick on my grammar? C'mon, don't you know ya don't learn a thing at a liberal arts college? :p

J. Parker -- Idaho has lax regulations on just about everything I've seen, and I know quite a few folks with ATVs, so I'd guess "yes" though I can't speak from personal first-hand experience. I know I hear 'em a fair amount in the backcountry. Aside from the occasional "well I'm a REAL hunter 'cause I stalk my game on foot" comments, I suspect you won't have any problem. I know a guy who rents the things, he can tell you more:

from the story I heard.. the humans had handguns, the moose had a bad attidude, and the dog had a good chase. Happy? :p
