I got a great deal today and just couldn't keep it to myself. I got a glock 30 for $400 2 ten round clips and a leather holster for the gun and for the extra clip. I got it form a cop who is getting a new gun because he is joining the swat team and they are giving him a new one. I work in a pawnshop that just quit selling guns a few months ago, but people still bring in things. I work for my parents. They said I had enough, but this is one hell of a deal, and since they sell for more, if you can find one, I snatched it as fast as I could.

Sorry to brag, but I am just glowing and couldn't keep it to myself.

Hoosierboy, we have an old saying in my family:

"DON'T MAKE ME HAVE TO HURT YOU."
:)

Just kidding. I can tell how excited you are, it's comin' off the screen. I don't blame you. Have fun!

Congratulations. You got a good deal. I hope the officer didn't lose too much money. ;)

CONGRATULATIONS!! I live in Warsawm IN up north. You did get one heck of a deal. I also got my first Glock 27 from an officer, the funny thing is i got it for 400 dollars as well. He gave me 2 10rd clips, a box and a half of hydra-shok and a cheap Fobus holster. How wierd 2 guys in Indiana both getting Glocks for 400 dollars from officers. It's a small world.

We are in Michigan city we stopped selling because my father was afraid of the lawsuits. A place called fetlas got sued by the city of gary and compromised by paying the city around 10,000 bucks and had to agree to stop selling handguns. Allegedly, they were doing some naughty things, and it was warranted, but I don't believe the
owner(s) were the ones pulling the trigger, but you know how the gun grabbers are. We kept everything by the book but mostly sold cheap guns like jennings and davis. Since they seem to be somewhat unreliable we just didn't want the hassle. So we let our ffl expire in october 99.

I did indeed get a good deal and I am glad you got the same. The funny thing is he didn't ask for a paper transfer or anything. I just gave him 4 bills and he left. First thing I did was run the numbers with one of my friends at the detective bureau and it of course it came up clean. I dont have a distincly dishonest face, and I think most people treat me in high regard. But I would do paperwork.

I don't seem to mind since I got both a great deal and a clean unregistered gun!

They're selling for $600 + here in Seattle. Good price.

Just 4 months ago my range sold a G30 with only 1 mag for $400 to a friend.

If you reload, go to glocktalk for recipes. just shot my G30 last night. One inch groups at 50 feet and I haven't even tweaked my load. It gives my HKP7s a run for the money.

The most accurate and versatile 45 I've ever had!

Good eyes!!!!
