Glock 29 Gen 4 10mm smaller size 10-rd pistol

I never considered a Glock because they're most commonly used by police and popular on the street with bad guys because of, well so many reasons, price being the biggest. I always wanted a 10mm pistol but found 3 or so obscure and expensive firearms I wouldn't buy. Then I told my fam I would love a "not-too -small but easily holstered 'midsize' pistol with accuracy and durable construction and all the types of ammo chambered models that are not just 9mm Luger or .40sw. My fam showed me the catalogue of rentals at the range and I was drawn to a CZ 75b .40sw (first time with the caliber) and a Glock 29 Gen 4 10mm with 10-rd clip. Fam told me to try the FS but I wanted to see if I could handle a sprightly lower pressure 10mm and I had to adjust to the recoil but with such a small gun, the cheaper, though high quality rounds were perfect. I wanted something I could carry and also not be smooshed while holding it and aiming. This is,not an impossible pistol to handle. I found that using lower power rounds was excellent. I left it all stock and bought a CZ 75b .40sw 10-rd full size pistol which I attatched hogue finger groove full grips and a microlaserand red dot sight. It reminds me of the Beretta 92a1 but with unique looks, a more rugged frame and comparable price. I like the sci-fi look of it. My point is, if you're afraid to try smaller Glocks in high calibers, don't be wimpy and hang on tight. Anybody else use a 10mm Glock, .357 sig, or .45 acp Glock?

My G29 is more controllable than my Delta Elite in regards to recoil. I like the Delta Elite more but it was also twice the price, heavier, and holds less rounds.

I've owned a G20 for years and added a G29 to a have a smaller gun for backpacking in bear country 2 years ago. The G29 is almost identical in size to a G19 or G23, just slightly thicker. I don't find recoil bad at all even with full power loads from Double Tap. It wouldn't take much to convince me to sell the larger gun. I don't shoot it any better and can always use the 15 round mags in the G29 for the same ammo capacity.

FWIW both of mine feed and function perfectly with 40 S&W ammo. Accuracy and POI are no different. Lots of guys do it all the time in order to save money on ammo. I'd only do it in an emergency, but it is nice to know if you ever need to.

I have the G29,30 and 33 all fine pistols! Have a few other Glocks as well!

That CZ is a fine pistol, enjoy it!

I've been wanting a 10mm glock for a while. I am heavily invested in 9mm Glocks, I'm just just not sure I want to stock another caliber.

I have a Glock 27 , 30S & 29
I have found the 27 to be a bit "snappy' as compared to tne 30S , im new to the 29 .. i shot some Sig 180gr FMJ these are considered upper mid range rounds ..
I found it to recoil similar to the 27 ....
I have some full power rounds ordered from Underwood ...

I carry my G29 with Underwood 10mm 200 XTP. I also have a 40sw, an extended 10mm and a 9x25 Dillon barrels for it.

As with any gun you can get used to shooting it. Try shooting a 9x25 Dillon out of a G29.

WHEEE! :D
